The Global Insurance team is a specialized team within this Asset Management Firm that provides a dedicated service model applying a bespoke approach to insurance clients. The Global Insurance model is comprised of advisory services, customized insurance fixed income management, insurance accounting and reporting, and insurance relationship management.
They are looking for a highly driven individual for the Global Insurance team to contribute broadly in the areas of business development, insurance strategy and insurance fixed income and interested in growing a career within the insurance industry.
Principal Responsibilities:
Coordinating and preparing marketing materials, including Request for Proposals, presentations and pitch books
Liaising with Business Development Services (BDS) and Product Teams on new business opportunities
Developing and maintaining client/prospect lists
Helping with mail-outs and invitations for client events (e.g. conferences, roadshows)
Staying current on markets and the company's investment products
Providing support to the senior insurance strategy professional
Providing support to the senior insurance fixed income portfolio manager
Skills / Experience:
Ability to multi-task complicated projects under time pressure
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and positive team player
Keen interest in financial markets and investment management
Good commercial instincts
Strong computer software abilities including Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Record of demonstrated academic and extra-curricular achievement
Strong analytical abilities and a numerate background are preferred
