The Global Consultant Relations (GCR) Team is responsible for managing the company’s relationships with investment consultants. The main objectives are creating new business opportunities and defending existing assets/revenues in consultant intermediated sales channels.
Responsibilities:
Generate fast and efficient responses to consultant enquiries
Organise and prepare meetings with consulting firms (opportunities to attend some of these meetings)
Populate consultant databases
Form part of dedicated teams that set business strategy for specific consulting firms
Develop expertise is specific BlackRock products and services (participate in investment champion initiative)
Manage relationships with a number of smaller consulting firms
Develop close working relationships with other parts of GCG, and colleagues in portfolio management group (PMG)
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven Client services experience ideally from an Asset management or Consulting background
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Broad product knowledge with a keen interest in Financial markets
PC literate, usual Microsoft suite of products especially Excel and PowerPoint
Numerate
